Assen, the first chance for Tim Gajser

This weekend will be officialy the end of summer in the off-road. After a couple of weeks without plan on Saturdays and Sundays, motocross appears to rescue us from boredom, or to break our calmly, and prepares to restart engines with his usual emotion. In addition, this weekend has the most succulent of all incentive. Tim Gajser can be champion at Assen being just 19 years old. The rookie has surprised everyone this season and is very close to adding the premier class championship to his promising record.

Only 1 point more than Antonio Cairoli. That is what Gajser needs to be mathematically champion MXGP in Assen, where Romain Febvre, champion of last season, assured his crown. Now, about to lose it, the Frenchman prepares to recover sensations and climb to the podium in the overall standings. That is the goal of the current champion, which undoubtedly will fight for the title next season. Just like Cairoli, who has tried different bikes this season, with the aim of finding the balance ahead of next season, even though he still have options to be champion..

Assen circuit will be special for Cairoli. It will be the first time that Tony runs there in his career, in facilities with large capacity and that not usually host events of motocross. This fact, along with the coronation of Gajser, makes this weekend even more special, if possible.
